We have these classes open to the public through concurrent enrollment: CLRE-236 Translational Research Fundamentals; CLRE-237 Discovery & Stem Cell Translation; and CLRE-238 Applied Drug Development. If you take any of these courses, and are later accepted to the degree program, they may count towards elective requirements.
Tapping Into the Power of the Altman Clinical and Translational Research Institute
This master's degree in Clinical Research evolved from the Clinical and Translational Research Certificate Training Program (CREST) offered to physicians/scientists who work at UC San Diego. The Clinical and Translational Research Institute (ACTRI) coordinates all clinical research education efforts.
Our student population encompasses Clinical Research Associates working in private industry; Biomedical Scientists employed in biomedical firms, hospitals and pharmacies; Physicians; Pharmacists; Dentists; Nurses with advanced training, and Psychologists.
