![]() Program FormatThe master's degree in Clinical Research consists of 36 quarter units of study. Coursework can be completed in 18 to 30 months of study, depending upon a participant's time to devote to the program. Students enter the program either in the winter (January) or summer (July) quarter. Most required courses are conducted year-round over four consecutive 12-week periods. The academic year is comprised of four quarters: winter (January), spring (April), summer (July) and fall (September). Classes are typically held in the late afternoons or evenings, to allow flexibility for participants' home/work life. The regularly scheduled core classes are typically held from 4-6 p.m. at the UCSD Medical Center in Hillcrest on Wednesdays, and at the UCSD Extended Studies complex in La Jolla on Thursdays. |
