Current Position: Sr. Clinical Trials Assistant
I graduated from the MAS Clinical Research program in June 2006 and started working at Quintiles Inc. in August 2007. (I had a baby boy in between). Quintiles is a Clinical Research Organization (CRO) that helps pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies develop and market innovative therapies. What are your current responsibilities? I work as a Clinical Trials Assistant in the Clinical Operations department on a phase III Genentech-Roche RA study. I deal mostly with regulatory documents and study files in addition to supporting the study sites and study monitors. Are you enjoying your job? I love my job. I'm very lucky to have met such amazing and smart people. I've learned so much and now have a great career. “The MAS degree has given me the knowledge and tools to enter this exciting world of Clinical Research." What did you do before completing the MAS degree? How is Quintiles doing in this economy? Even in these hard financial times, our company is very stable, and there are many clinical research projects yet to come. I feel very lucky that I have a profession that will always be needed. "I would recommend this program to anyone who is interested in entering the Clinical Research field."
